When planning out your next family trip, you may be looking for kid-friendly adventures that the whole family can enjoy together. Colorado offers many attractions that people of all ages can partake in, while others should be left to the 18+ crowd.
Here at Mustang Mountain Coaster, we pride ourselves on being a family-friendly attraction that locals and tourists alike can enjoy. Are you traveling to Estes Park with little ones? You may be wondering if you can purchase tickets for them, too, or if they'll have to sit this one out.
Children ages 3 and up can enjoy the Mustang coaster experience. They will need to be at least 38” inches tall to be able to ride with an adult.
In order to experience the Mustang Mountain Coaster solo, the rider will need to be at least 54” tall. To carry another passenger, the initial rider needs to be at least 16 years old. Children can ride safely with an adult.
In addition to the ages and heights of riders, there is a weight requirement. For a solo rider, the maximum weight allowed is 350 pounds, and for two riders, the maximum combined weight allowed is 330 pounds.
Regardless of age, height or weight, there are some health requirements associated with riding the Mustang Mountain Coaster. Individuals who are pregnant or believe they could be pregnant, who have current injuries or who have a history of seizures should not ride a mountain coaster.
Additionally, those who have a history of back or neck injuries, a heart condition or a temporary medical device (such as a cast, sling, brace or boot) should avoid riding the coaster. Note that a health waiver will also be required before riding.
